This rewarding role includes delivering coaching, facilitated sessions, and tailored support, particularly for young people with EHCP plans.

✅ Salary: £27,000 - £32,000

🏛️ What could the future of Devonport Square look like?

We're proud to have partnered with the on a live design brief exploring the future of Devonport Square and Devonport Column as part of the developing Devonport Creative Quarter.

Architecture students developed creative proposals that reimagined the space through community-focused design, green infrastructure, cultural activity and improved connections between Devonport's key heritage assets.

A selection of the work will be on display at the Market Hall this summer, inviting visitors to explore the ideas and join the conversation about the future of Devonport Square and the wider Creative Quarter.

A huge thank you to all the students and staff involved for their creativity, enthusiasm and fresh thinking.

Another brilliant workshop and social with our 2026 residents last week! ⭐

Filmmaker and artist Megan Roberts invited the group into a participatory session rooted in her collaborative practice. Beginning with a screening of And Breathe - a 15-minute immersive film made with Plymouth residents aged 55+ as part of the Plymouth Culture funded Sea for Yourself project, which showed at Market Hall and welcomed 100's of visitors across 2 weeks.

The session moved into discussion, making and exchange. Megan shared how she works as a participatory filmmaker in 360 format, why she prioritises participation over authorship, and why image-making and collage offer a non-extractive way into socially engaged work.

Participants made their own immersive dome collages in response to the prompt "What is Plymouth for you?", before a collective workshop exploring Megan's technical pipeline - from physical image to animation to the dome.

The session closed with an open conversation about narrative, process and the possibilities that emerge when you stay flexible and let the work lead.
