A HUGE thank you to the Legendary team at Full Moon Tattoo, who have spent the last three days raising money for Livewell Foundation as part of their 14th annual anniversary charity event.

Thank you to the team for sharing their own experiences of having loved ones cared for on the Neuro Rehabilitation Ward, and for telling the story of the compassion, dignity and kindness they experienced from Livewell Southwest staff.

All funds raised by Full Moon Tattoo will be going directly towards supporting the ward and the people who use it.

Weโ€™re so grateful to the whole team for choosing The Livewell Foundation, for sharing their story and for all their hard work over the last three days. Legendary behaviour ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

This year is extra special - it's the event's 10th anniversary, and we'd love YOU to take part in Team Livewell!

Kelly, who ran both the Malaga Half Marathon and LLHM last year, told us:

Last month, Mindful Art Club CIC welcomed visitors to Leadworks CIC in Stonehouse for a moving exhibition featuring artwork created by women who have spent the past year taking part in weekly mindful art sessions across Plymouth.

Made possible through funding from the Livewell Foundation, the project has supported women experiencing mental health challenges and recovering from substance misuse, providing safe, welcoming spaces where creativity became a pathway to healing, connection and self-expression.

Today we're saying a heartfelt thank you to one of the people who has helped shape Livewell Foundation since the very beginning.

After serving as a trustee since our launch in 2017, Morris Watts is stepping down from our Board as he begins his retirement.

Throughout his remarkable career in public service and during his time with the Foundation, Morris has been a passionate advocate for stronger, healthier communities. His experience, wisdom and thoughtful guidance have helped us grow, support local organisations and make a positive difference across Plymouth and South West Devon.

We're incredibly grateful for everything Morris has given to the Foundation and to the communities we serve.

Please join us in thanking Morris for his years of dedicated service and wishing him a long, happy and well-deserved retirement. ๐Ÿ’™

This weekend is one of our favourite events of the year, and we couldnโ€™t be prouder of everyone taking on the Plymouth Half Marathon and 10K in support of The Livewell Foundation ๐Ÿ’™

So many of our runners have chosen to fundraise because theyโ€™ve seen first hand the difference our grants make to local people, projects and services across Plymouth and South West Devon. Whether through work, personal experience or support received themselves, their connection to the Foundation makes every mile even more meaningful.

And while we're at it, a big thank you too our Livewell supporters out on the route bringing the noise, the pom-poms and the love for not just our runners, but everyone taking part.

Weโ€™ll be in Race Village on the day, so come and say hello if youโ€™re around.
