🎄 Help Bring the Community Together for the Peterborough Cathedral Christmas Tree Festival 2026!
I'm absolutely thrilled to be taking part in the Christmas Tree Festival at Peterborough Cathedral again this year! 🌟 To celebrate our amazing community, I'll be turning our tree into a MINI EXHIBITION featuring both my photography and art groups! Community Clickers Wild Art
If you ever joined us or plan to do it in the future, here is how you can get involved:
📸 PHOTOGRAPHY: Share What Is Special To You
I'll will be printing photos from our Social Photography walks, but I want your memories on the tree too!
• The Theme: "Something that is / feels special to you"
• What to send: It can be literally anything that holds a place in your heart: your cat, your motorcycle, a beautiful flower, a sunset, or a favorite walk memory.
• Your photo will be printed and placed inside a clear keyring to hang on the tree. I will add credit with your name on it, just like on our Community Clickers group covers! After the festival finishes, the keyring is yours to keep 🥰
• How to submit: email your photo to [email protected]
Deadline: 10th of November
🎨 ART: Free Kimekomi & Origami Workshop
For the art feature, I'll host hands-on creative session so we can craft beautiful pieces together to decorate the tree! No experience is needed, and it's a wonderful chance to learn a new skill.
• 📅 When: Saturday, 7 November
• ⏰ Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• 📍 Where: The Green Backyard
• 💰 Cost: FREE !
**Booking required , spaces are limited.
Send email to: [email protected] to secure your space.
Decorating Date is 26th of November and you are free to join and decorate it with me. The Festival will then open on the Friday afternoon and run until Wednesday 6th January 2027 inclusive.
Let’s show the whole city the incredible heart, art, and soul of our community. I can't wait to create something beautiful together! 🤗🎄✨
