🐾🐾Mocca’s Day Out 🐾🐾
As you know, kennels are no place for an eight-month-old puppy, so today we volunteers decided to give this beautiful boy a very special day out. ❤️
With the heat making things a little difficult, we had to be really mindful about where we went, but Mocca had the most wonderful day from start to finish.
We picked him up at 10am and headed off to the lovely little village of Shilton, where he enjoyed paddling in the ford alongside some children and cooling off in the water. From there, we made our way to Wolvercote and the beautiful Trout Inn by the River Thames. We found a lovely shady spot where Mocca relaxed with us, enjoyed a little lunch, and soaked up plenty of admiration from customers who all thought he was absolutely gorgeous.
After that, we went for a peaceful walk through a shaded woodland before finishing the day back at the ford for one last paddle. Sadly, all good things come to an end, and Mocca had to return to the kennels.
Please, please share this post — we desperately want this lovely boy to find his forever home or even a foster home. Mocca does need an experienced dog owner and would need to be the only dog in the home. However, he is extremely friendly with dogs out on walks, just wanting to play, and he absolutely adores every human he meets. 🐶❤️
He is such a special boy who deserves so much more than kennel life.
