๐ŸŒฒ Davagh Forest Trail Update ๐ŸŒฒ

All trails are now open โœ… except for Beleevna, Wolf's Hill, and Big Wig Jig, which will remain closed until further notice ๐Ÿšซ. A minor diversion is in place along the Riverside Walking Trail โ€” please follow the signage provided.

โš ๏ธWhile trail clearance has been carried out across our forest site, visitors are advised to exercise caution when entering forested areas. Significant storm damage has resulted in debris remaining throughout the forest. We strongly encourage all visitors to remain vigilant and proceed with care during their visit. โš ๏ธ

๐Ÿ‘Ÿ Please stay alert, watch your step, and enjoy your visit safely! ๐ŸŒฟ

*FINAL CAMINO YOUTH WALK*
Our final walk takes place this Saturday 12th April with Davagh Forest being our start point. If everyone could meet at the *large 2nd Carpark at Davagh at 1pm* we will then make our way to the beautiful boardwalk and walk together to the Beaghmore Stone Circles and back again with a wee break half way. Our numbers taking part over the past 3 walks have been so encouraging and we are all hoping for best turn out yet on the final week and finish it well ...see you there !!

Broughderg Area Development Association wishes a very happy 100th birthday to Annie

Annie at 100 years of age is much more than our oldest resident she is someone who was brought up without the conveniences of electricity, piped water, a telephone network, no Facebook and definitely no internet life style and without all the Systems of communications that are now taken for granted. All neighbours walked to the chapel on Sunday. That was the system of communication. The value of neighbourhood was very important. Annie Coyle became Annie Slane when she got married to neighbour Felix Slane. Felix and Annie lived their married life in Davagh. Now we are proud today that Annie is more than our oldest resident; she's also our neighbour.
So Happy 100th birthday to our favourite centenarian! This is one awesome milestone, and we are so honoured to be here celebrating your 100 years of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories we are so lucky to have you in our lives Happy birthday Annie.
