If you're getting your little one ready for big kids' school in September, here's a tip that real parents swear by and honestly, it's genius. 👀

These special stickers reveal a hidden character when p*e hits them in the potty, so every trip to the loo becomes a little adventure. Kids get so excited to see what appears that they'll start going to the potty themselves just to see the magic happen. 🪄

Ready or not, here come the school holidays! 🥳

Here's a little checklist to help you and your little ones transition smoothly into the summer break:

✅ Celebrate what your child has achieved this term, no matter how small
✅ Talk to them about what to expect over the holidays so they feel prepared
✅ Plan a loose routine. Structure helps children feel safe, especially over long breaks
✅ Stock up on activities for rainy days (IYKYK 😅)
✅ Make time for rest; the end of term is exhausting for children too
✅ Connect with other parents for playdates and shared activities
✅ Check what free holiday programmes are available in your area (more on that in our next post! 👀)

This Saturday is our big fundraising day!

The Scouts and leaders of 3rd Hucknall Scouts will be taking on a 24-hour cycling challenge, covering the equivalent of 440 miles on stationary exercise bikes to help raise money for a new roof for our Scout Hut.

At the same time, our 3rd Hucknall Squirrels will be hosting a mega sale and raffle, with some fantastic prizes up for grabs!
