Today, we’ve launched a new public-voted category within The Cricket Collective Awards 2026, expanding how we recognise fantastic contributions across the recreational game.

You can now vote from a shortlist for your ‘Cricket Collective Champion’ – an award designed to recognise and celebrate an individual who has played a vital role this season in making recreational cricket happen, supporting and championing the volunteers who bring it to life.

Congratulations to our shortlist:
- Mark Broad, Surrey
- Gemma Gamble, Sussex
- Simon Gladwell, Suffolk
- Paul Mackintosh, Staffordshire
- Sarah Pollard, Yorkshire
- Declan Ryan, Northamptonshire

You can read about their achievements and vote for your winner here: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/ey1VPqTbuj

This new category sits alongside the established Cricket Collective Awards, which celebrate the volunteers, young leaders, clubs and community groups who keep the grassroots game thriving across England and Wales.

Voting is open and will close on Monday 26 October 2026 at 23:59.

Winners will be announced in early February 2027 and celebrated at an awards ceremony in the Long Room at Lord’s Cricket Ground.
