🕰️ : this week’s is a little different!

Instead of looking back at an event, we’re celebrating something we’re really proud of: the Girlguiding Cymru website turns 25 this year! 🎉 It first went live back in 2001, and thanks to the Wayback Machine, here’s a peek at how it looked all those years ago! 😍

A quarter of a century later, it’s jam-packed with resources and information for members and volunteers across Wales.

Do you remember the old site? Tell us your memories in the comments! 👇

Looking to welcome new girls to your unit? 💜

Our new Girlguiding Cymru Bring a friend postcard templates are now available in the Growth design template library, in both Welsh and English! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Personalise a postcard with your unit’s details, such as where and when you meet and a contact number for parents and carers, then print some off for your next meeting. Your girls can then write the name of a friend on the postcard and give it to them as their very own invitation to come along and see what guiding is all about. Who better to spread the word than the girls who love it? ✨

Want the link? Message us below with the word Bringafriend and we’ll send it straight over!

You can also look under the resource section of the Girlguiding Cymru website to find the Growth design template library.

🎄 Our Christmas event Canva templates are here! 🎄

You asked, and we listened! We’ve had lots of requests for these on our ideas form, and we’re delighted to share our new Girlguiding Cymru Christmas event templates.

They’re available for Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers, plus a general Girlguiding version too.

Use them for Christmas fêtes, parties, quizzes and any other festive event you’re planning. They’re completely adaptable: elements can be moved and the writing changed to suit your event. We’ve also included an ink saver version for printing.

Welsh versions will be uploaded shortly.

📌 You’ll find the link to the template library in the image.
Want it sent straight to you? Just comment “Jinglebells” and we’ll send you a private message with the link.
