Croeso i Llanidloes have been supporting a refugee family in Llanidloes for the last 7 months. It has been a wonderful experience as well as a lot of hard work - and life long friendships have been made 😊

We are putting a call out to see if any other Llani and surrounding area folk would be interested in starting a new community sponsorship group - we would be very happy to advise and support along the way!

January 10th - Bingo Night at Llanidloes Rugby Club. Raising money for refugees with Croeso i Llanidloes.
Doors open 6.30pm. Eyes down 7pm
With great raffle prizes to be won!

We're all set up for tomorrow's toy fair at the Hanging Gardens. Come on down between 10-2pm and grab yourself a bargain in time for Christmas!

We’ve received so many amazing donations for this year’s Toy Fair - it’s going to be even bigger and better than last year! And it’s happening this Saturday 9th December at the Hanging Gardens. So only a few more days to get your good quality second hand toys to our collection points.
We can’t wait to see you there and help everyone have a happy and toy-filled Christmas this year! ❤️

After last year’s success - it’s happening again! We have collection points in Co-op and Hanging Gardens for your good quality new or second hand children’s toys. The toy fair will be on Sat 9th December so you have until then to get your donations to us. We were blown away by everyone’s generosity last year - let’s see if we can make it even bigger and better this year! ❤️

We have wonderful news!
The UN Refugee Agency have identified a family who, all being well, will be arriving in Llani at the end of this month 🥰
We have been busy getting everything ready for them but still need a few bits to help them feel at home. We are looking for:
Pillows
New toilet seat
single mattress covers
small bedside lamps
Single duvet covers
Single bed sheets
Bedside table
Pillow cases
Double duvet
Double duvet cover
Double bed sheet
Blankets
Rugs
Desk top computer/laptop (New or less than 3yrs old)
Easy to use microwave
Everything new or in a good condition please.

Once the family have settled in a bit we will also be looking for lots of volunteer support with things like:
Informal English conversation
ESOL lessons
Introduction IT training
Drivers for helping to get to appointments etc
