We're excited to announce our newest friend of NFC, the !!

We've teamed up to give girls and young women the opportunity to expand their creative network and get involved in everything we have going on at NFC. With this new collaboration, anyone who takes part in the Future Lasses in Film group has an automatic membership to NFC which enables them to take advantage of our community kit library for their own creative projects.

And this is only the beginning because we have some more exciting things planned with YWFA that we can't wait to shout about.

If you're a female identifying member of NFC and want to get involved in the amazing work YWFA does, get in touch with them! They're always looking for women who are interested in giving guest talks, masterclasses and run workshops for their community.

Let's spread some encouragement in the comments. If you could give advice to your younger self when it comes to being creative, what would you say?

We’re looking for someone to help generate radio content all about the experiences of women and girls in and out of the film and media industry, based on our programmes at the Young Womens Film Academy!!

We need someone who is interested in supporting our creative work with women and girls, as well as pursuing sound production or generating radio/podcast content!! 🎙️📻

We're looking for women aged 18+ who have at least a basic understanding of sound recording and audio editing.

"Saturday club is a safe space where I can build my confidence and make new friends."

Our Saturday Club runs on alternate Saturdays 11-1pm at Newcastle Arts Centre for 12-25 year olds. Special thanks to our funders Community Foundation North East and The James Knott Trust ❤️

Future Lasses In Film runs on a Tuesday evening 6.30-8.30pm at Newcastle Arts Centre for 16 – 24 year olds. Special thanks to our funders and Community Foundation North East and The Barbour Foundation ❤️
