New Horizons Canal Boat

New Horizons Canal Boat New Horizons is a 70ft Narrow Boat which offers fully accessible Canal Boat trips. March to October Dogs are welcome on board.

All Skippers are fully qualified and we also carry experienced crew on every trip. Children under the age of 1 don’t count in the 12 passengers allowed. Kitchen facilities available on board.

Today Sarah Laker of Stationery Supplies was presented with her Float the Boat certificate by Liz, our boat manager.
Sarah has been collecting empty ink cartridges for recycling, the proceeds of which she very kindly donated to New Horizons, and we are very grateful for her support.

This morning we took delivery of slate coasters and wooden key rings which will be going on sale on New Horizons. Jason from Wanderlost, a trading narrow boat has made these for us to sell but also donated some for use on board. We presented him with his sponsorship certificate and badge. Would you like a short cruise along the canal?
Did you know you can book New Horizons Canal Boat for up to 12 people for as little as £80. That's less than £7/person. There's free tea and coffee on board, and you can bring your own food if you wish.
It's a great way to spend a few hours with your family, friends or colleagues, and it's also wheelchair friendly with an onboard lift for anybody with mobility issues.

Stockport Canal Boat trust provides accessible trips on the Macclesfield and Peak Forest Canals. As the boat manager I am responsible for ensuring our 70 foot narrowboat New Horizons is ready and welcoming for all our guests.
