The Hike begins at 12.00 noon in Hazel Grove on the A523 (Macclesfield Road) Walkers then have a dramatic start ascending to the highs of Lyme Park- Bowstones. From here, the hike scales Chinley Churn, Edale Cross and then tracks laterally across the Edale and Castleton Valley. At the furthest point and typically in the dark, walkers pass through Millers Dale, Chelmorton and Earl Strendale

On the

return leg of this circular 56 mike hike walkers pass through Wildboarclough and aspects of Macclesfield Forest before taking to the well known Middlewood way to return to Hazel Grove and collect a well earned Full English breakfast.
