🎶 Wake me up before you go-go… to Romiley Precinct! 🎶
Get ready to step back in time on Saturday 15 August (from 6:30pm) for another brilliant FREE ’80s & ’90s music night right here in Romiley Precinct.
This time, we’ve got the amazing The Amstrads 80's Band taking us on a musical joyride through the biggest hits of the ’80s and ’90s — so whether you’re more ABBA than Oasis, more Bon Jovi than Blur, or you just want to party like it’s the Spice Girls, this one’s for you!
Expect a night packed with tunes that’ll have you shouting for Queen, dancing like Madonna, singing along with Duran Duran, getting your groove on like Wham!, and maybe even finding your inner Human League, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, Culture Club, The Cure, Eurythmics, Depeche Mode, Simply Red, Pulp, INXS, A-ha, Bananarama, Tears for Fears, Simple Minds, and Fleetwood Mac.
If that doesn’t get you dancing, nothing will!
Bring your own chairs — but please, no tables, as space is limited — and settle in for a cracking evening of nostalgia, singing, dancing and good old Romiley community spirit. Don’t forget your dancing shoes… or your best shoulder pads!
We’ll also have tasty food from Pizza'ere - Romiley and SidrahsKitchen, plus Bossy Beauty will be on hand with face painting to add a splash of colour to the night.
So grab your friends, dust off your denim jacket, tease up that hair, and come along for what promises to be another fantastic Romiley night. It’s free, it’s fun, and it’s going to be absolutely top of the pops! 🎤🕺💃
