For the last year our youth forum have met fortnightly to discuss what issues affect young people in the community and what they could do to help tackle those issues. The question “why do young people carry knives” became a concern that the group began understanding, looking at personal reasons as well as systemic influences.

The group decided to create a resource that could help young people if they were ever a victim or close to someone who had been stabbed. It was exhibited during Knife Crime awareness week alongside an event for the community.
