From “Guten Morgen, meine Freunde!” to the finish line in Prague!

We did it! 🎉

Thanks to The Big Give and every single person who donated, we raised an incredible £25,845 for Prevent Breast Cancer.

From the 6th to 13th October, every donation was doubled, meaning your support went twice as far. That’s £25,845 that will help us bring trusted breast health information to more women, especially in communities where awareness can be lower, empowering more people to take charge of their breast health and seek help sooner.

🌟 What an amazing achievement!

Earlier this year, breast cancer survivor and professional dancer Lucy Freeman shared her story with

Since then, she's been working hard on DANCE • LIVE • CHECK YOUR CHEST, a campaign that uses dance to encourage more people to be breast aware and check their chest regularly.

We're delighted to see the campaign come to life and love this photo from a flashmob organised as part of the campaign. Lucy has put so much passion and energy into spreading this important message, and we can't wait to see the finished video when it's released this week.

This Black History Month and Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we're sharing Rose's story 💗

Rose Ssali is the Founder and Chief Executive of Support & Action for Womens' Network - SAWN, Support and Action Women's Network, a charity empowering African women in Oldham through support, solidarity and community. Rose partnered with us to bravely share her own experience of breast cancer, helping to challenge misconceptions.

Representation matters. The more we see and hear stories like Rose's, the more we can build trust, break down barriers and encourage women in our communities to speak up, get checked, and know they're not alone.

Breast cancer doesn't just affect women. Men can get it too, and knowing the signs matters 💙

Symptoms to look out for include:
✅ A lump or swelling in the chest or armpit
✅ Ni**le discharge, which may contain blood
✅ Changes in the size or shape of either side of the chest
✅ Sores or ulcers on the chest
✅ A change in the shape or look of the ni**le, such as it turning inwards or developing a rash

It's important to check your chest regularly so you know what's normal for you, that way, it's easier to spot if something changes.

If you notice any of these signs, please see your GP. It doesn't definitely mean cancer, but early checks make a real difference.
