💚Building a Pathway💚

We were privileged to be part of the Pathway Project in Bua District School 🫶🏿. Once complete, the Walkway will be used by staff and students of the school and will be especially helpful during wet weather.

Vinaka vakalevu to all supporters. To those of you who may be reading this and want to get involved- message us to see how we can work together in future initiatives.

We were able to deliver books and a few sports equipment to school students from 6 years old to 16 year olds. This trip also allowed us to hear from the staff and students themselves about their challenges so we will go away and have a think about how we can help address them.

Premise🎯

“(1) Every person has the right to (a) early childhood education; (b) primary and secondary education; and (c) further education.”

[Section 31 [Chapter 2 – Bill of Rights] of the Constitution of the Republic of Fiji, 2013]

While education for Year 1 to Year 12 (primary and secondary) is fully subsidised by tuition grants, many schools in the North remain under resourced and their students face unique barriers from that common in Viti Levu schools.

With this in mind, next month we will be on the ground learning more about the barriers Primary schools face and we hope to tailormake our help accordingly. As you can see in the graph below, Primary school enrolment has increased steadily since 2010 and we have no doubt that helping this segment of the education system at this time will have positive impacts in the life cycle of a child in education.

📖Twenty-five: Forty📖

Hi everyone,

Welcome to our page. The Twenty-Five: Forty Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable group based on Jesus's teachings in Matthew 25: 40 and the vision is to use our resources, networks and know-how to help out schools in Fiji by way of gathering resources for their use or funding experiences and education.

Whilst charitable works is best done in secret, the only two reasons we have decided to publicise a few of the work we do is to be accountable to our supporters and also garner more support for the work we will look to do in the future.

We look forward to sharing more with you as we fully establish the Foundation (yes there's a lot of work in the pipeline) and we hope to be able to partner with more stakeholders as we do.

In the meantime, we hope you enjoy the sights and sounds from Udu District School in the video below. This is the school that started this in 2024.

🔊sound on 😊
