David’s Tent
A worship community that gathers to Worship Jesus. Because He is Worthy • 72 Hours Non-stop Worship •

Since 2012 we have hosted an annual 72 hour non-stop worship event where thousands have come away to worship together. We have been stunned by the tangible sense of unity, explosive passion and vibrant community that has emerged over the years both at the summer festivals and regional worship nights. David’s Tent is an independent body comprised of Christians from across many different denominations and church expressions. It is not 'owned' or financed by any particular church stream but is a grass-roots organisation that has grown organically over the years.

Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.

We are passionate about keeping worshipping Jesus the main thing!

Maybe the idea of setting up a tent, or sleeping on a roll mat makes it hard to consider joining us.

Perhaps you’ve done your time wrestling with guy ropes and tent pegs and want a simpler arrival and departure.

Or you’d simply like a bit of luxury to go with your time worshipping in a field.

We totally understand, and we have some glamping options to help…

I appeal to you therefore,
brothers [and sisters],
by the mercies of God,
to present your bodies as a living sacrifice,
holy and acceptable to God,
which is your spiritual worship.

Do not be conformed to this world,
but be transformed
by the renewal of your mind,
that by testing you may discern
what is the will of God,
what is good and acceptable
and perfect.

Each year of gathering for 72 hours to worship God looks different, and yet the same thing always happens when we commit this time to Him…

God shows up in powerful ways – transforming and renewing us for another 365 days of exploring what a lifestyle of worshipping Him looks like.

We are made for community, with God and with each other. A retreat in the context of community is such a beautiful experience and we love sharing it with others.
