A massive thank you to all who made Sunday so successful, including Ollie, Mick , Alex and all the bar staff, everyone who donated raffle prizes and auction items, all you lovely folk who turned out to support Young Lives V Cancer once again, the talented performers - Malmesbury Morris,Immy Rose Pegler, Phoebe and Toby, Ells Chadd , Lea and Garsdon School Choir led by Connie Jachnik, The Razzle Dazzle Jive Band, The Band of Pilgrims, and Drew Calderbank. And huge thanks to Drew for doing the sound. Thank you to everyone who helped to put up and dismantle the party tent. Thank you Kevin Tibbs for a great job in MCing the afternoon, and inexpressible thanks to Denise for collecting and coordinating all the prizes and donations, such an important job given the free admission to the event. The final total raised for this so important cause will be published shortly.

Just a week to go! I’ve lost track of how many Musicalea’s there have been but it might be our 30th this year. Once again there will be a great line-up of performers including bands, solos, dance troop and choir, in the garden of the Rose and Crown, Lea. This is a free event and our support for Young Lives V Cancer depends upon money raised from the raffle. As well as a load of prizes to be won on the day, there are three items going to sealed bids - WOMAD tickets for 2 adults and 2 children including parking and camping worth £520, a Dyson Corrale worth £399 and 2 for 1 airport transfer. Huge thanks to Womad, Dyson and Derek Cole. Denise Tibbs is happy to take sealed bids - send her a message or drop a bid in her letterbox.
Looking forward to another memorable Lazy Sunday afternoon next Sunday the 14th from 1.

Musicalea 14 July 2024 - get the date in your diary! Already I have some great raffle prizes plus a 4 day pass for WOMAD for 2 adults and 4 children (under 13) worth £520!!! These will go to a silent auction a week before the event which will continue through the day of Musicalea until late afternoon.
If anyone has anything they can add to my donated raffle prizes, please message us.
