We will be leaving early on Saturday 26th October from Much Wenlock to travel by coach and ferry to Cysoing, our twin town in Northern France, near to Lille.

This is a family exchange trip on this occasion, where you will stay with allocated families after matching is done and there will be activities planned with the family and as a group over the weekend.
The aim of the exchange is to experience french culture and make new friends to form a bond between our two communities.
We will stay in Cysoing and depart to return to Much Wenlock on Tuesday 29th October in the morning, arriving back home by early evening.

The cost of the trip is subsidised by the Twinning Committee who pay for the ferry crossing and the coach fare is paid by those who go on the visit.
We are currently awaiting final costings, but would estimate it to be around £75 - £100 per passenger. The more who come on the trip the cheaper the cost per person.

Our first Twinning language input at Much Wenlock Primary School. A presentation about their visit on works experience to Cysoing by Alice and Annie-Rose from William Brookes 6th form and then games and a chance to visit the Confiserie and spend some "Wenlock Wonga's" to buy some french sweets, cake and drinks. We hope this promotes Twinning and the use of another language and will be a regular visit to the primary school to help provide a language experience to the pupils.
