CIDT recently supported the Caribbean Development Bank in documenting outcomes from the Basic Needs Trust Fund Ninth Programme (2017–2022). BNTF 9 delivered 114 projects worth USD 38M, benefiting 54,000+ people across nine Caribbean countries.

Using a participatory and gender-responsive approach, we produced case studies from Jamaica, St. Lucia and Suriname, illustrating how targeted community investments can transform lives—from improved access to water to strengthened livelihoods and child-focused services.

CIDT is now supporting BNTF with a follow-up review to enhance Country Project Completion Report processes.

The Hindu Kush Himalaya sustains 240 million people, yet faces severe climate threats.

In 2024–2025, CIDT evaluated ICIMOD’s efforts to build climate capacity across eight countries. Our findings will help shape ICIMOD’s Strategy 2030 and strengthen resilience in this fragile region.
