⚖️ Who deserves the title of ‘Malmesbury’s Greatest Rogue’? You decide!

On Saturday 28 November at 7pm, six notorious figures from Malmesbury’s past go head-to-head at the Town Hall in a lively showdown of history, humour and debate — and the audience delivers the final verdict.

Expect sharp arguments, outrageous stories and jaw-dropping revelations as these real Malmesbury characters battle for your vote:

• John of Tintern — troublemaker extraordinaire
• Edmund Wilkins — rotten-borough wheeler-dealer
• Edmund Hobbes — stop-at-nothing schemer
• Sir Henry Moody — the “base fellow”
• Michael Wilkes — challenged by accounting
• Charles James Fox — scandalous!

Tony McAleavy, Susan Mockler, John McCormack, Rob Miller and two special guests will each champion a ‘favourite’ rogue, while Deputy Mayor Karen Drake keeps the proceedings firmly — and impartially — in hand.

It’ll be funny, fiery and full of Malmesbury mischief. Best of all, the final verdict is yours.
