We help unpaid carers by providing:
- Young Carer Club Nights in 7 Districts across Essex
- Young Carer counselling and support in schools for Young Carers in NE Essex
- Support with getting into college and work for Young Adult Carers aged 16+in NE Essex
- Adult Carer Counselling and Befriending
- Feeling Good Caring Well activities and strategies
- Information, advice on carers rights and entitlements
- Day Care in Maldon - looking after vulnerable older people, providing a break for their carers
- Activity Groups for people with dementia in West Essex
- Carer and Family Response service in Chelmsford
- Carer Friendly GP Practice development
100% of our resources go into supporting unpaid carers.

A little gift that can make a big difference! Kelly from Kinder Essex - Chelmsford has kindly delivered this adorable octopus, which will be making its way to a family supported by Yvonne from our Chelmsford Family Support Team.

As well as being super cute, the octopus can offer sensory benefits for autistic children, giving them something to fidget with.

It’s lovely little acts of kindness like this that can make such a difference to the families we support.

A big thank you to Eves Corner Bridge Club, who have donated an amazing £1,000 to our Maldon Day Centre following their annual charity bridge tournament 💗

We're delighted to have been chosen as their charity.

As a small charity, we rely on donations to help us support unpaid carers across . Support from local groups like this makes a real difference, and we're so thankful for their generosity.

We’re grateful to have so many of our members, councillors and local dignitaries from across Essex in the room.

As well as covering the formalities of running a charity, our AGM is an important opportunity to bring carers’ voices to the table. We heard words from our Young Carers and listened to a really powerful speech from Tracey, an adult carer, who shared her experience.

Hearing directly from carers reminds us why our work matters and why we must keep listening, raising awareness and making sure carers are heard and supported.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a meaningful event.

A day out, some furry friends and memories to treasure! 🐐❤️

Our Maldon Day Centre clients enjoyed a lovely trip to Elms Garden Centre and Petting Farm, spending time together and meeting some of the animals.

Getting out and about can sometimes be a challenge, but the smiles and shared moments made it all worthwhile!

A huge thank you to our amazing staff, volunteers and family carers who helped make this special day possible. 🥰

Join us as our Community Engagement Coordinator!
