A huge thank you to all the wonderful residents and caring staff at Brook Lodge Care Home in Ghyllgrove for coming out to support and watch our carnival on Saturday.

It meant so much to see you all cheering us on, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to be part of such a special day. Your support helped make the event even more memorable.

Thank you once again – we hope you enjoyed the carnival as much as we enjoyed seeing you! 🌟🎉

Following conversations with members of the public on Saturday, we would just like to clarify something.

The management committee behind Basildon & Pitsea Carnival are NOT paid – we are all volunteers.

We give up our own time throughout the year to plan, organise, fundraise and deliver the carnival for our community. On occasions, members of the team even put their own personal money into the event to help make things happen.

We do it because we care about the carnival and want to continue providing an event for Basildon & Pitsea.
