We are thinking of doing a one item raffle to raise funds for the memorial.
I’m trying to consensus of how many people would be interested.
It would be for a William Wood watch.
The package is worth over £1000 and we’re thinking of raffling it for £10 a ticket.
We’re not getting this for nothing so it needs to be worth doing.

We will be attending both Halstead and Great Baddow fire stations open days.
Raising awareness of the National Red Plaque Fire Service Memorial in Rettendon, and also our club.
Come and have chat and sit on the bikes, we will be raising money for the upkeep of the memorial by voluntary donations. Every little helps

Tomorrow the families and friends come together to lay these plaques.
If you would like to come along to see the ceremony then please do.
Rain should have cleared by ceremony time but it is on grass so ladies beware if you are wearing heels.
We will have teas and coffees after, if you would like to bring lunch and take in the surrounding please do

This Sunday sees the first plaque placing ceremony of the year at the National Red Plaque Fire Service Memorial
Below are the names being placed.
If you are attending could you please let us know roughly how many in your party.
Numbers are not an issue it’s just for us.
Pete Donns plaque is on the wall already but if family are attending we can still carry out the process
