Happy New Year to you all!

So this weekend I'm running my second Team Farleigh training run (10 miles) in preparation for the London Marathon.

This is my second humble plea for donations to this great charity. Every £10 donation will give you a chance of winning £150 - and please feel free to provide a name for me to run a mile in their memory.

Hi all, so I have been lucky enough to be taken on board with Team Farleigh to run the London Marathon in 2025 in memory of my close friend 'Tuck'. Today always makes me think of a young man, Robert Lane, buried in a small cemetery outside Courtrai in Belgium. He was killed by German machine gun fire crossing fields in October 1918 defending our liberty just 2 days before his unit was taken off the front line.

He was my great uncle and I was probably the first relative ever to pay my respects at his grave. I am ever grateful to our armed forces across the generations. They deserve respect every day.

I will return Robert RIP.
