Your donation could be worth even more to the people we support!

When you donate items to Making a Difference to Maidstone and sign up for Gift Aid, we may be able to claim an extra 25% on the value of your donated items when they’re sold — at no extra cost to you.

That means an item that raises £20 could become £25 for our charity. £40 could become £50. Your generosity simply goes further.

That extra income helps us provide food, essential items, practical support and a listening ear to local people facing crisis and hardship.

Donate. Gift Aid it. Make your donation worth more.

🍹 Go Sober for October!

Taking a break from alcohol for a month can be a great opportunity to think about our health, habits and wellbeing.

For some people, alcohol can also become something that is difficult to manage. Go Sober for October helps start conversations, challenge habits and raise awareness of the benefits that reducing alcohol can bring.

Whether you're taking part yourself or supporting someone who is, every positive change matters.

October is Black History Month — a time to recognise, celebrate and learn from the achievements, contributions and lasting impact of Black people throughout history and within our communities today.

At Making a Difference to Maidstone, we believe stronger communities are built when everyone is valued, respected and given the opportunity to thrive.

This month, we celebrate the people, stories and contributions that have helped shape our communities and our world.
