Maria Dickin
It was a goal of one woman, to end the suffering of pets, Maria had the strength and drive to create an organisation to help suffering pets in the hardest time of all, first world war. But she didn’t stop there, soon animal dispensaries were opening up all over Britain and caravan dispensaries which travelled to those in need were created. Today we still stand not only helping fund the vets which save our pets life's everyday but also proudly being the UK’s leading vet charity, which helps over 470,000 pets and deliver over 2.7 million pet treatments each year.
Every person matters in order to keep Maria's success to carry on. From each volunteer in our charity shops and vet clinics to our staff and vets, we all work hard to end the suffering. You CAN also be a part of this wonderful organisation by donating or volunteering, every little help matters.
