Volunteers are the backbone of every charity and we have some of and not to forget the management team who virtually ‘live their lives’ making sure every FLOOF dog is happy and secure and living their best life.

Returning floof frenchie needing his forever home 🏡
Due to a change in floof Elmer family circumstances he needing to find a new forever home 🏡

This absolute cutie came into floof in 2023

He went to his new home with 2 other dogs and slotted right in

He had a fur sister who is a shouty twat🤭 when out walking and he picked up bad habits off her while out walking so back in 2024 he did some training and he learnt that shouting at other dogs like his fur sister was not needed and learnt to walk nicely with other dogs, he will need his new family to keep up with his commands so he doesn't lose his confidence when out walking

With this in mind we're looking for a dog free home where he will have the full attention he deserves ❤️

His family have written what they feel the ideal home would be......

I think he would benefit being with a family with older kids Say like 10+ up.

He can be left and does like to chill as long as he has the tv or radio left on and had all his teddies. He likes a blanket as well.

He is just like a baby tbh

He is very playful and loves balls doggie bubbles and playing find the treat.

I hide little treats all over the house so he can find them.

I would say leave him for no longer than 5 hours, but he wouldnt cope with that 5 days a week. Probably someone that works part time.

He eats any dog food but is better on biscuits in his slow feeder.

He gives kisses and cuddles.

He sleeps downstairs at night with a blanket and teddy.

He doesnt have a dog walker but does let other people walk him.

He had no allergies either.

Doesn't like water but is very good having a shower. He loves being trained, and learns quickly. Listens to commands

❤️NEWBIE ALERT- Hermosa ❤️

Please welcome the gorgeous teeny Hermosa to the floof family, her floof name Hermosa means gorgeous or lovely and I think she is such a pretty girl.
Unfortunately Hermosa went for her health check and came out with:
1. Needing boas
2. Needing a vulvoplasty
3. Spay & hernia repair (which we knew about)
4. Luxating patella surgery

Having asked the vets for a quotation not including patella they said £8000!!
So, being the tight fi**ed Yorkshire woman i am I decided to shop around and lo and behold a vet 8 miles away can do the vulvoplasty, spay and hernia repair for around £850! I kid you not.
We aren’t in to vet bashing, its a bloody hard job but the prices can be unrealistic and to be clear, this was with a general vet, not a specialist.
It pays to shop about, this little lady has no symptoms of boas, yes, she has stenotic nares but she has zero breathing issues. So boas is off the cards! She will be seeing the new vet on tuesday who will take a look at her tuppence and decide if she needs an op or she can be medically managed (For educational reasons i will post a video in the comments to demonstrate how tucked her v***a is)
You may notice a cheeky floof Wimbledon or tw*t dog is her new brother.....he has finally accepted her after being a bit of a k**b. I’d also like to thank Hayley for chasing poor Floofs Marshmallow around the garden saying show aunty Beth your tuppence, Its made me giggle after being so unwell this week!

💙 Newbie alert 💙

The whirlwind takes full responsibility for this one.....meet Floofs Penfold

Kellie gets a call, a lady who is “caring” for a friends dog and they’ve gone away and said “rehome it”. We aren’t the most patient of rescuers and we are usually absolutely appalled when people refer to dogs as “it”. Anywho, long story short this little lad went to join floofs Birdie, our gorgeous little poundie and what can I say? It was a match made in heaven, hes a big boy, twice her size with large erm......tennis balls 🫣 He’s had his health check and is booked in for his neuter but he won’t be going anywhere, Foster mum & dad fell head over heels in about 12 seconds so Penfold has his happy afte. Aren’t they the cutest
