How resilient is our food supply? What practical steps can we take to become more resilient to food supply disruption?

Our Innovation Lab has been helping people from across the Dyfed Powys region to explore these questions, as part of the Dyfed Powys Civil Food Resilience Project.

Led by Bwyd Powys Food and working with Local Food Partnerships across Powys, Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, the project commissioned CAT and Miller Research to undertake vital research into our current state of food resilience in the region. Crucially, our innovation lab enabled actors from across the region to co‑design practical, place‑based approaches to improving our food resilience, so we're prepared for future challenges.

We’re proud to be helping deliver this important regional project, funded by Llywodraeth Cymru / Welsh Government and Food Sense Wales / Synnwyr Bwyd Cymru.

Pa mor wydn yw ein cyflenwad bwyd? Pa gamau ymarferol allwn ni eu cymryd i ddod yn fwy gwydn i darfiadau i’n cyflenwad bwyd?

Fel rhan o Brosiect Gwydnwch Bwyd Sifil Dyfed Powys, mae ein Labordy Arloesi wedi bod yn helpu pobl o bob cwr o ranbarth Dyfed Powys i archwilio'r cwestiynau hyn.

O dan arweiniad Bwyd Powys Food a chan weithio gyda Phartneriaethau Bwyd Lleol ledled Powys, Ceredigion, Sir Gaerfyrddin a Sir Benfro, comisiynodd y prosiect CyDA a Miller Research i gynnal ymchwil hanfodol i gyflwr presennol ein gwydnwch bwyd yn y rhanbarth. Yn hollbwysig, dyma ein labordy arloesi yn galluogi cyfranogwyr o bob cwr o'r rhanbarth i gyd-ddylunio dulliau ymarferol sy'n seiliedig ar leoedd i wella ein gwydnwch bwyd, fel ein bod ni'n barod ar gyfer heriau'r dyfodol.

Rydym yn falch o gael helpu cyflawni'r prosiect rhanbarthol pwysig hwn, a ariennir gan Lywodraeth Cymru a Synnwyr Bwyd Cymru.
