What’s on my mind asks Facebook…..what’s on my mind is the open Mic. It’s tonight (Wednesday) at the Wynnstay. Lots of acts. Bethan and I promised we’d finally do a song together and now it’s Wednesday and it’s a nightmare. Song is only just finished . We haven’t even tried it together. Will I sing in tune and remember the chords . Oh no , it’s going to be a car crash. Please don’t come.

I love playing with these guys . Tommorrow it’s the Steinway ,plus Dai on Tuba (the bare necessities) Lucy on Trombone (Sway) laid back drums from Steph,Elaine and John on horns , Plus Chris on Saxaphone (In these shoes) and altogether a sunny morning at The Dyfi Osprey project . Start 11.30 Sunday .

Dyfi Osprey Centre is such a beautiful space. Great ambience, food, walks , nature.
We’re playing some lighthearted jazz on Sunday. 11.30
They have a lovely old Steinway . Last time we had some dancers but it’s okay to just drink tea and admire the views.

Post Twrci Tango was a Machfringe community event in Machynlleth which involved over fifty writers, young and old , making poetry and songs about our shops and businesses.
All proceeds are being used to support local projects and charities.
£1000 has been given to Machynlleth Youth Club - Leuenctid Mach Youth- IMY Machynlleth.

George Horne and Ruby Burgess McCue (on the right) managed the Post Twrci Tango event and handed over the cheque to IMY Liam Rickard (assistant youth worker) Beth Clewes (lead youth worker) Martha Price, Kian Williams and Tiahna Waterhouse

A further £1000 has been given to Machynlleth and district care centre which is a charity that provides community support centered at the old cottage hospital.

A further £600 will be used to help young entrepreneurs provide and promote events in Machynlleth

As the glitter settles …
Lots of people came but…We didn’t raise quite as much as we’d hoped, we’d like to get to £2000.
All of your money will go to our Youth club and Care Centre Trust.
No expenses will be taken from your donation.
