⚽ Who's Ready for Five a Side Football? ⚽
One of the highlights of Carnival Week is back!

Round up your mates, lace up your boots, and join us for a day of football, fun, and friendly competition. Whether you're a regular on the pitch or haven't kicked a ball since last summer, there's a place for everyone.

Under-15s Tournament – Kick-off 10:30am
Age groups will be categorised.

Adult Tournament – Kick-off 12:30pm
Both Male and Female teams will be categorised, turnout dependant.

🔥 BBQ Refreshments
☀️ A great atmosphere to start the week of carnival celebrations
👏 Plenty of opportunities to cheer on family and friends

Rain was forecast, but somehow it stayed away! ☀️

We are so, so grateful, happy and emotional beyond words at the incredible support shown for Colour Run 2026.

Thank you all so much. We absolutely love you all! The support from our amazing community has honestly left us close to tears. ❤️

A special mention to Jasmine – although this was a fallow year for the founder of our amazing local event, we were honoured to be this year's custodians.

Jas, 2027 is back in your court! 😊❤️

Thank you to everyone who took part, volunteered, donated, sponsored, cheered us on and helped make the day so special. We couldn't have done it without you.

🌈 Colour paint will be on sale to cover family and friends in colour!
☕ There will also be bacon/sausage rolls, tea/coffee & soft drinks available to purchase.
💷 Please remember: all sales will be cash only folks!
OK, next stop tonight is a Chinese Takeaway, then its early to bed and early to rise.....

🌈 Just Over 24 Hours to Go Until the Machynlleth Colour Run 2026! 🌈

Tickets are nearly SOLD OUT, and we can't wait to see you all tomorrow!

A few important reminders before race day:

🕤 Sign-on: 9:30am - 10:40am next to the football clubhouse (just inside entry gates). All runners must sign in before the race.

🧘‍♀️ Warm-up: Please be at the top of the football pitch by 10:50am for our group warm-up. You'll also receive your first blast of colour before we count down to GO!

🗺️ Route: The course will be the same as in 2025. Please familiarise yourself with the route map below so you know what to expect.

⚠️ Safety First: Due to the recent weather, some sections of the route will be walk-only. Our marshals will be on hand to help, so please follow their guidance at all times.

🕶️ Eye Protection: Glasses are mandatory during the run.

🌈 Colour Zones: Colour powder may only be thrown within the fenced playing field. Please do not bring your own powder – only event-supplied colour powder is permitted.

🎨 Extra Colour Powder: Additional powder will be available to purchase for runners and spectators. Please note: cash only as card payments are not available.

🚯 Respect the Environment: Please take your litter home and keep all runways and pathways clear. Let's make sure everyone has a safe, fun, and enjoyable day.
