Axe throwing and archery a few weeks ago. The beavers had so much fun, and a few even got top marks. 😊⚜️🏹🪓⚜️❤️

1st part of the Aircraft badge last week. We learnt about all different aircrafts, old, new, commercial, business, and air force. We then decorated our own paper airplanes and learnt how to fold them to help them fly. Some worked better than other ha! We had a lot of fun.

REMEMBRANCE SERVICE

The annual service of Remembrance and Parade will take place at the Cenotaph on Sunday 9th November. The parade starts at 10 am, followed by a short service in St. Peter’s Church at 10.15 and then the Act of Remembrance at 11.00am.

Please meet at the cadet hut (by coop) no later than 9.45 to march down the street with the cadets.

FULL UNIFORM
Jumpers, black/dark grey school trousers and black shoes, neckers. Lose small change for the collection.

Parents / grown ups encourage to come with us.

We will pick wreath layers and flag bearers on the morning of, with who turns up.
Any questions let me know.

I personally would love a good show of beavers, as this service is such an important one for the scouting community. Please do make every effort to bring you beaver(s) to show your support.

Our lovely bird feeders in use. The beavers had fun talking about what birds should and shouldn't be given to eat. And then got a chance to mix their own ingredients to take home and put out in their own gardens.

The beavers will be making bird feeders tonight. Each beaver will be bringing 2 yoghurt pots to fill with yummy things for the birds to eat, perfect timing in this cold snap we are having.
Will post some pics of the end results later tonight.

We know school starts back next week, but please member Beavers will be starting back the week after, so Wednesday 10th September.
