🎃👻 It’s beginning to look a little spooky around here!

We have been getting creative with some pumpkin carving, transforming our pumpkins into some wonderful Halloween decorations. 🧡

We put our creations to good use, using them to decorate our Photo Booth at our Halloween event, adding the perfect spooky finishing touch! 🕸️📸

🎃👻 WHAT A FANTASTIC HALLOWEEN EVENT! 👻🎃

We had a brilliant time at our Community Halloween Event today, with lots of people coming along to join in the fun and enjoy a treat from Susie’s Tea Room🧡

A big highlight was our Scarecrow Competition, with some fantastic entries from:

🌾 Lea Manor High School
🌾 Official Woodlands Secondary School
🌾 YAWN Life

All three created some wonderful scarecrows, and it was a very close competition! A huge well done to everyone who took part and put so much creativity and effort into their entries.

🏆 But we can only have one winner… and congratulations go to 'Official Woodlands Secondary School🎉👏

Thank you to everyone who attended, took part and helped make today’s event such a success. It’s wonderful to see our community coming together!

Happy Halloween, everyone! 🎃🧡👻

🎭🎉 The Show Must Go On 🎉🎭

While our lift works are still underway, it’s very much business as usual here 🏡💛 There’s still plenty going on, with activities, laughter, games and lots of lovely moments being shared every day 🎨🎶🎲

And of course, we’re keeping the snack supplies well stocked… although we’re not quite sure where they all keep disappearing to! 😂🍷🍫🍇🥔 From chocolate and crisps to fresh fruit and the occasional glass of w**e, keeping everyone fuelled is a full-time job in itself! 😉

🚧🛗 Lift Modernisation Works 🛗🚧

We have been getting ready for our lift modernisation works, and although there’ll be a little disruption, we’re really looking forward to our lovely new lift 💙

We’ve been out and about enjoying some fresh air, treats and a little preparation at Sainsbury’s and Costa Coffee. ☕🛍️

We have handed out goodie bags, filled with things everyone chose themselves...magazines, newspapers, chocolates, crisps, cordials and even Guinness 🍫📰🍺

We’ve also got goodie bowls upstairs and downstairs, packed with plenty of treats to enjoy during the works ❤️

In the meantime, we’re excited to make use of our new chairlift, and some of our residents have already had a great laugh going up and down 😂🪑

We’re making the most of it and looking forward to our brand-new lift! 🛗✨

☀️🌸 A Lovely Morning Walk 🌿🍅

We enjoyed a lovely stroll in the sunshine this morning, taking the time to admire the beautiful flowers, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the peaceful surroundings 🌷💐 We also popped into the garden to check on the last of our home-grown tomatoes, a wonderful reminder of all the hard work and care that has gone into our garden this year! 🍅❤️
