Another part of volunteering that Hannah is proud to do is help to monitor this page (πŸ‘‹ hello as I am writing this) and build relationships with the local community 🌟

Thank you to all our volunteers in Luton North and the volunteers in different organisations that we work with πŸ’™

We are proud to support volunteers week as without them, our charity wouldn't run. We are 100% volunteer led πŸ™Œ

Thank you to each and every one of our amazing volunteers across Luton North πŸ’™ They do everything from running weekly meetings, sorting the finances, managing our amazing Woodcroft building, planning trips and so much more!

If this year's volunteer week celebrations means you are thinking of volunteering but are not sure when, where or how, you can see what roles we currently have on our Volunteer recruitment platform. Pop in your postcode and see roles local to you or click express your interest for a different role.

Thank you πŸ™Œ

Moore Kingston Smith's community foundation have awarded 1st Sundon Guides Β£300 in match funding!

This has been used against the cost of their upcoming residential, ensuring that they could make the event accessible for all.

However this wouldn't have been possible without the support from their volunteers and wider community!

Special mention to Alexa and her nan Liz, Isabella and her Mum Ali, Captain and Hannah for gathering sponsorships for the Bedford Bridge Walk 🚢

We also thank Parklea Primary School for allowing them to use their space as a meeting place and for various division events. They also allowed 1st Sundon Guides to have a stall at the summer fayre, where they held a successful tombola 🎟️
