We need someone to help maintain Woodcroft, our local Guiding Centre so that the girls can continue to experience both regular meetings and residential opportunities. You can be involved in a way that works for you, suiting your skills, interests and availability.
What you'll be doing:
π¨ Carrying out small repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
π§Ή Undertake tasks such as sweeping external areas, jet washing car park and paving, and cleaning windows.
ποΈ Minor decorating tasks, including painting and general touch-ups.
πΏ Grass cutting and other gardening tasks
The skills and qualities youβll need :
π· Desired experience of working in a caretaking or maintenance role
π§© Knowledge and skills acquired through a hobby relevant and transferable to the role
π¨ Confidence in using basic maintenance tools and equipment
π¦Ί Knowledge of health and safety legislation in order to work safely
π€ Flexibility and adaptability to be able to deal with a variety of different maintenance tasks that arise.

What we need from you:
Provide 2 character references.
Complete our safeguarding training called safer guiding basics.
Complete a criminal record disclosure check (DBS, PVG, Access NI or Police Check, depending on where youβre volunteering)
