Job Advert: Project Support Coordinator (Freelance)
Contract: 3‑month freelance contract
Start Date: Early May 2026 (May–July)
Street Fathers Luton is seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Support Coordinator to support the delivery of a community‑focused programme over a three‑month period. This role is ideal for someone who is adaptable, detail‑oriented, and confident managing events, volunteers, and multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
Event Management
Work with the advisory board to develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan
Lead on event planning, delivery, and marketing activities
Coordinate and organise volunteer training sessions
Project Administration & Coordination
Systemise and maintain project documentation
Provide support to key stakeholders and partner organisations
Manage referral pathways and ensure smooth processes
Support the onboarding of Street Fathers volunteers
Conduct a volunteer skills and training audit
Produce the final project report at the end of the contract
Person Specification
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Excellent written communication and proficiency in Excel
Ability to manage multiple tasks and workstreams simultaneously
Confident communicator with stakeholders
Strong time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
Proactive and solutions‑focused mindset
Desirable
Experience in event management or project management
