Good North Herts pub news! From The Lytton Arms press release:
"The Lytton Arms Makes The Good Food Guide’s Top 100 Pubs 2026!
We’re absolutely thrilled! The Lytton Arms, Old Knebworth, has been named in The Good Food Guide’s 100 Best Pubs 2026, No.94 in the prestigious national ranking.
A fantastic accolade and wonderful recognition of our team’s hard work, warm hospitality, well-kept b**r and delicious menus celebrating the best of local produce.
The Good Food Guide praised the pub for its generous hospitality, regularly changing real ales and confident, straightforward cooking. Its review also highlighted dishes including slow-braised Knebworth Estate venison and beef, alongside the pub's much-loved Sunday roasts and traditional puddings.
James Nye, Managing Director, said, ‘This is a huge honour, and we couldn’t be more delighted. It’s recognition of the whole team’s dedication to good old-fashioned, welcoming hospitality. A massive thank you to all our loyal customers for your continued support, we couldn’t do it without you!’
John Anderson, General Manager, added, ‘This listing has left us reeling! We’re absolutely thrilled and very proud. It’s a huge testament to our incredible team and the warm hospitality we strive to deliver every day. Thank you to all our wonderful customers who voted for us.
