Today is Barton-Le-Clay Cub Scouts last day of camp, they were merciful to the leaders by all being asleep before 10pm 🙌 and then waking us up at 6.30am - not nearly as terribly timed as Saturday morning. ⏰

The plan for Saturday was changed slightly since not only were the adults knackered but so were the cubs! 🫩🥱 So instead we did our campfire Sunday morning - who says you need to do it at night? 🔥

🍟🥾 St Joseph's Scout Group ANNUAL CHIP SHOP HIKE! ⚜️

40 CONES OF CHIPS! 🤯🍟

Cubs and Scouts took on their annual Chip Shop Hike, getting outdoors, enjoying some exercise and working up a serious appetite along the way! 🥾💪

While waiting for the chips to arrive, there was just enough time for a few games to keep everyone entertained and burn off some extra calories! 😂🏃

And what better way to finish than with 40 cones of delicious chips waiting for them? 🤤🍟

A massive thank you to Doppelmayr Cable Car, the company behind the Luton DART, for generously paying for all 40 portions of chips! 🍟

🏕️🌙 BARTON CUBS’ FIRST NIGHT OF CAMP!

Barton Cubs have been playing games outside in the dark, enjoying hot chocolates ☕ and watching a film before bed! 🎬🛌

The leaders may have made a slight error in judgement by giving them sugar before bedtime! 😂🍫

Fingers crossed everyone is asleep before 3am… for the leaders’ sake! 🤞🫩
