A huge thank you to everyone who attended the recent events for our community-led report, Everybody Knows: Islamophobia, safety and belonging in our town.

The pre-launch gave leaders in health, education, policing and the council a first-look at its findings and recommendations. The feedback was supportive and discussions gave honest insight into institutional challenges and explored practical steps to implementation. We're pleased there has been progress towards the recommendations, which we plan to share in the near future.

The community launch welcomed people from various organisations and groups to offer feedback and add their views. Attendees gave critical reflections, including the scale at which immigration narratives are shaping British Muslim's sense of belonging in the UK; the worrying trajectory seen as another genocide is normalised; the necessity of Islamophobia and racism being viewed as an integral part of safeguarding; and the importance of giving attention to intersectional experiences including anti-Blackness and gendered experiences of racism and Islamophobia.

We have been able to secure an additional revision session to help students prepare for the ⭐️ Physics Paper 1 exam ⭐️ taking place on Tuesday 2nd June.

The session will be led by Mr Raza, Specialist Leader of Education in Science, and will focus on key topics, exam technique, and building confidence ahead of the exam.
