How could London Luton Airport improve the NATS air traffic control tower? Add a helter-skelter slide? Put flashing lights on the outside? Those were only a handful of suggestions young people at gave during a Skills Builder UK workshop. ✏️

Our community partner London Luton Airport hosted a Skills Builder session for our young people as part of our Summer Programme 2026, to develop their employability skills such as listening, problem-solving and creativity. As well as getting crafty, young people got the chance to ask volunteers about the operations at the UK's fifth-largest airport.

Join Tokko Youth Hub, a vibrant charity in the heart of Luton, supporting young people to lead happy, healthy lives. We’re looking for a passionate Young Parents Co-ordinator to support young parents across a range of needs.

What you’ll do
-Work with multidisciplinary teams to strengthen support for young parents
-Inform assessments and respond to individual needs
-Build partnerships with local agencies and services
-Support young parents with their child’s development
-Plan and deliver parenting courses and group activities
-Advocate for young parents in meetings and reviews
-Maintain accurate, confidential records and contribute to reports

About you
-Experience supporting young people, especially young parents
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Understanding of the challenges young parents face
-Organised, detail-focused, and a team player

DUSK is a powerful, youth-led short film that confronts the realities of Violence AgainstWomen and Girls (VAWG), misogyny, adolescence, and identity. Co-produced with young women and young men in Luton, the film offers an honest and unfiltered exploration of the pressures facing young people today and how they navigate these challenges together.At the heart of DUSK is the belief that meaningful change cannot happen without the active involvement of young men. The film creates space to reclaim healthy masculinity, nurture allyship, and encourage open conversations that challenge harmful narratives before they take root.

By engaging young men in these discussions, DUSK works to prevent the fear, isolation,and ‘othering’ that can contribute to pathways towards violence and abuse. Instead, it fosters understanding, accountability, and empathy.

Created in partnership by Tokko Youth Hub and Next Generation Youth Theatre, and supported by the Knife Angel Legacy Fund 2025, the project amplifies youth voices and champions social change through creative expression.
