The 8th hoggy box has gone to Herts & Middlesex Badger Group. As well as badgers it included foxes, a deer and hedgehogs. Hopefully they’ll raise lots of money for the badgers. I didn’t take a photo of the box contents but here’s a few of the items.

The 7th hoggy box is winging its way to Kirklees Valley Wildlife Centre. Actually it’s more of a hoggy and friends box this time. I was contacted by volunteer Lesley to ask if I could send them a copy of my HEGGhog pattern. She sent me a link to the wildlife centre and I thought ‘why not, such a good cause’ so made them my next box. I’ve had such fun making squirrels, rabbits, foxes, badgers, owls, ducks, gulls and beavers, along with the obligatory hedgehogs. I hope they raise lots of money for their cause!

I’ve finally managed to get round to knitting something from this excellent book, which was a present from my daughter. I’m so pleased with the way the ballerina has turned out and can’t wait to knit more! 😊
