🌟 Volunteers’ Week 1–7 June 🌟

We are kicking off Volunteers’ Week early with a huge thank you to PageUp, who have kindly given their volunteer day today to help us out! ⚜️

Been busy clearing the ground around our hut and driveway, removing weeds and tidying bushes, helping us get everything ready for our new signage coming soon 👏

We are incredibly grateful for support like this, which makes a real difference to our space and the experience we can offer our young people.

Thank you as well to Luton Rising for supporting the event👏

Scouting helps young people build confidence, make friends, learn new skills and enjoy adventures they will never forget. We are also always looking for volunteers to help inspire the next generation and support activities in the local community. No experience needed, just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved 🥳

A huge thank you to the RDC Foundation for their generous donation of 3 x Vango Iris 500 tents, which arrived yesterday 👏 Over £750 worth of tents ❤️🖤

These will be put straight to good use and are ready for our June camp 🎉

Support like this helps us continue giving our young people amazing outdoor adventures and opportunities to learn Skills for Life ⚜️

Our Squirrel Scouts have been working towards their Recycling badge this week 🐿️♻️

Using recycled materials, they got creative making their own items of clothing and showing how everyday items can be reused in fun and imaginative ways 👕✨

It was brilliant seeing their creativity shine while learning about recycling and how we can all help look after the environment ⚜️🌍
