Walking is one of the best ways to be active every day so that’s why 5Kind Skincare are supporting the Ramblers again this year. We’d like to say a big thank you for their help removing the barriers that stop people walking in nature 🙏🌳

Our friends at 5Kind Skincare suggest that their H**p Active Gel is the perfect thing to aid your recovery after a day of walking. What’s your top tip for helping your muscles recover when you’ve finished your walk?

Who is heading out this weekend? 🥾🌿

"Uffmoor Wood is a popular urban fringe woodland in Worcestershire, managed by the Woodland Trust. It's located about a mile south of Halesowen and is known for its extensive network of paths, including a waymarked trail and a surfaced circular route suitable for wheelchairs and buggies too."

Bluebells are a protected species and are damaged easily by trampling, taking years to recover - by sticking to the path we can all continue to enjoy them for years to come 🙏

In case you missed it...👇🏽 Last week we celebrated a huge WIN in the fight for access to our local paths ✊

This was a high-stakes case with the potential to set a dangerous precedent - not just for Hayton Woods but for ALL of our access rights.

These historic Cumbrian paths are just one example of the THOUSANDS of miles of local paths across Britain that are missing, blocked or unusable, cutting millions off from nature close to home.

That’s why we’re calling for an Access to Nature green paper in England.

Access to nature isn’t a luxury. It’s a right. But we need to fight for it.

Residents welcome the news as paths in Hayton Woods are a step closer to being formally protected.

Where did you walk this weekend? 🥾 Let us know in the comments! 👇👇👇

"This path is part of an amazing 6 mile circular walk from the village of Grosmont in North Yorkshire....the abundance of wild garlic, bluebells and even wild orchids literally took your breath away with the beauty of it.”

Ramblers! What’s your favourite car-free walk? Tell us in the comments! 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

There’s something really nice about starting a walk by stepping off a train into sweeping sea views instead of the usual parking stress.
We’ve teamed up with Transport for Wales Trafnidiaeth Cymru this Spring to spotlight two iconic National Trails that you can easily reach by train or bus - the Wales Coast Path and Offa’s D**e Path.

We’d love to hear which other walks you love doing by public transport 🚂🥾🌿

We WON! 🥾🌳 (again ✊)

The Ramblers has defeated a challenge in the 15-YEAR legal battle against landowner Roxlena Ltd, bringing much-loved Cumbrian paths a step closer to being protected for future generations.

This was a high-stakes case with the potential to set a dangerous precedent - not just for Hayton Woods but for ALL of our access rights.

A ruling in favour of Roxlena Ltd could have had far-reaching implications for countryside access, putting at risk other paths not used during the foot-and-mouth crisis, or possibly during Covid-19 lockdowns.

Today’s judgment is a huge win for everyone who loves the outdoors and our right to enjoy it. 🌲🧡✊🏾
