Spectra works to improve the choices, health and well-being of people like you, often from diverse and marginalised communities. Empowering positive, informed choices about health, including sexual health, emotional resilience and well-being, and working with you to combat isolation and risk. We provide supportive, knowledgeable, non-judgemental services which are all peer led, meaning they are de

Our Trans Art Therapy group is starting again this September! 🎨

Our art therapy groups are about exploring your creativity, finding new ways to express yourself and learning skills to help you manage when things are difficult.

For the eight weeks of the Art Therapy Group, we will take some time for art making, and some time for sharing the images we have made or chosen. You will have the chance to express yourself and to be seen and heard in a non-judgemental space.
We sometimes focus on issues which might feel safer to explore in an explicitly trans space, but all themes are suggestions and starting points – we can choose whether we want to engage with them.

Application deadline: 31 August, 5pm.
The sessions will start the week of 9th September.

World AIDS Day Red Run is back!

On November 21st, we'll be at Victoria Park in London, getting together with numerous charities from around the UK, celebrating collectivity and putting our efforts together to battle HIV and its stigma.

Come join us for one of our most important days of the year, commemorating those that passed, those are still with us and everyone who has been affected by HIV.

We are asking YOU to run with us, to support us in continuing our HIV-specific services, from our regular outreach offering free HIV testing, to our HIV peer support and HIV-related counselling.

It’s Zero HIV Stigma day and we take this opportunity to remind ourselves why it’s still important to talk about HIV, about it’s history, about how it’s impacting the lives of people who live with it and the people around them.

The HIV epidemic as we know about it in the early 90s might have ended, but HIV transmissions are still very much a thing, and the stigma around it is even greater. At Spectra, our aim is to work towards a future where no one is shamed, silenced, or excluded for living with HIV.

If you are living with HIV or someone close to you is, we have a number of free services for you - do not hesitate to reach out!
