The countdown to a new school year can bring uncertainty to many children. New classroom. New teachers. New routines.
Changes can feel overwhelming, especially for children who are already facing challenges at home.

At CCS we know that emotional wellbeing is the foundation for learning etc. Through our work with schools and teachers, we help children build confidence and emotional resilience before small worries become bigger challenges.

The Assumption reminds us of hope. God calls each of us to share in His eternal life. Mary's complete trust in God and her loving care for others continue to inspire us in our mission to support children, young people and families facing hardship.

As we honour Our Lady, we give thanks for all those who show compassion, kindness and hope to those in need. May Mary's example encourage us to continue building a society where every child and family is valued, supported and loved.

A day at the seaside. Building sand castles. Laughing with family. Feeling free to play.
These moments may seem small, but for many children they can mean everything.

For Noah and his sisters, a simple day by the sea became a treasured family memory at a time when they needed it most. Through the generosity of our supporters, more children and families can experience moments of joy, connection and belonging.

Every child deserves happy memories to look back on.

For many of us, childhood memories are filled with family days out, beach trips and adventures that felt ordinary at the time. For some children, those opportunities are out of reach. Behind every statistic is a child missing out on experiences that help build confidence, spark curiosity and create lasting memories.
Every child deserves the chance to explore, play and simply enjoy being a child.

That is why we do what we do. Connect-Ed Rise is about helping schools create environments where more children feel supported, understood and able to thrive. Thank you to the schools making this possible and to everyone who supports our work. Together, we're helping more children get the support they need.

Supporting one child is powerful. Supporting the adults around them can transform the lives of many more. That's the thinking behind Connect-Ed Rise Intervention Programme. By investing in school staff, we're helping schools build the confidence, skills and tools needed to support more children, more effectively and for the long term.

For every member of staff trained, the potential impact extends far beyond a single child. It reaches classrooms, year groups and entire school communities.
Lasting change happens when schools have the capability to support children from within.

Every day, school staff are helping children navigate anxiety, emotional challenges, friendship difficulties and growing pressures. That's why at CCS we are committed to giving schools practical tools, professional training and evidence-based programmes that build confidence, strengthen early intervention and help staff feel equipped to make a difference to the children.
