Don't miss Jacob Dunne at the Restoration Revolution this Autumn!

Jacob is a UK campaigner known for his personal transformation after killing James Hodgkinson in an unprovoked attack with a single punch in 2011.

As a result, he received a two-and-a-half-year custodial sentence for manslaughter. On leaving prison Jacob found himself homeless, unemployed and struggling to get his life back on track. However, because of the encouragement and acceptance he found from his victim’s parents, he was inspired, went on the study criminology and has now become a powerful advocate for Restorative Justice and the transformation of the Justice system.

The critically acclaimed play Punch, based on Jacob’s story, had simultaneous premieres in both London’s West End and in New York on Broadway in 2025.

This week, students from Oasis Academy Arena and Oasis Academy Coulsdon visited Parliament as part of the Government’s 'Growing Up In The Online World' national consultation.

Through our partnership with The Children's Society, our young people spent time at our London office before heading to Parliament to share their views on the opportunities and challenges of social media.

The discussion also covered issues that matter to young people locally, including e‑bike and scooter safety, school food, and the pressures surrounding exams.
