The World Memon Organisation (WMO) is an international umbrella organization of the World Wide Memon Community

The World Memon Organisation (“the WMO”) has been formed as an international umbrella organisation in order to unite Memon organisations, institutions, corporate bodies, associations, jamaats and individuals. The purpose of the WMO is to act as the central Memon organisation representing the entire Memon community throughout the world, promoting the advancement, upliftment, unity, welfare and well-being of all Memons in all aspects of life and at all times in accordance with Islamic principles. The WMO is a non-profit-making organisation incorporated by guarantee and not having a share capital, whose registered office is situated in England and Wales.

What a monumental achievement for the WMO Africa Chapter! 🌍✨

From the groundbreaking ceremony of the future Golden Age Village, to the networking dinner, Annual General Meeting in Gauteng, and hosting distinguished international guests Mr. Salman Iqbal and Mr. Kamran Ghani, culminating in a memorable dinners with 100s of Memon guests in attendance in Kwazula Natal— every event was a milestone.

Beyond the celebrations, the chapter achieved meaningful connections, strengthened partnerships, and great outcomes, setting the stage for an even brighter future.

An ASTOUNDING achievement of raising R19.4 million towards the Golden Sge Village in Waqf pledges/funds collected at the Gauteng events that took place on the 04 & 05 September 2026 and property sales worth: R30.05 million, this included 3-bedroom units, 2-bedroom units and single/studio units, with further sales completed subsequently.

Additional sales have since brought further momentum to the project, including three more units sold, comprising two studio units and one additional studio unit.

A truly historic and impactful journey for WMO Africa! 🙌

🌟 24th Annual General Meeting – WMO Middle East Chapter 🌟

Alhamdulillah, the World Memon Organisation Middle East Chapter successfully held its 24th Annual General Meeting at the Grand Hyatt Dubai on Sunday, 13th September!!

The event began with recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a warm welcome from Mr. Salman Iqbal, President of the World Memon Organisation. His inspirational speech on the impact WMO creates within the community was truly well spoken and resonated with all attendees.

Members came together to review the Annual Report, Audited Accounts, and inspiring performance updates from our Ladies Wing and Youth Wing — a true reflection of the community's dedication and growth over the past year. Mr. Kamran Ghani, Regional President WMO Middle East Chapter, also delivered a keynote highlighting his 3-year performance report, which was widely appreciated by the members present.

A special highlight of the AGM was the announcement of the newly elected Regional Management Committee and Office Bearers for 2026–2029:
