Volunteer numbers are declining. Demand on charities is climbing.

This Volunteers' Week, we're spotlighting an answer that's hiding in plain sight: young people.

Investing in youth volunteering delivers a double dividend:

→ It strengthens charities at a moment of rising need
→ It opens new pathways for young people facing barriers to employment

A modest shift in how the sector resources and welcomes young volunteers could reshape both the charity landscape and youth employment outcomes.

The Muslim Charities Forum recognises that the collapse of our natural world is not only an environmental issue, but a growing national security risk.
From food security to public health and economic resilience, nature underpins every aspect of our daily lives.

The Nature + National
Security Bill presents a science-led and practical response. By recognising nature as national infrastructure, it ensures it is properly prioritised and protected for the benefit of all communities.

We encourage you to watch this video to understand more about the campaign and why this legislation matters now.

As we mark the final day of A Million Acts of Hope Week of Action, we’re sharing reflections from guests at our Partners Annual Exchange on what hope and solidarity mean to them. Their words remind us that hope lives in everyday actions and solidarity is built by showing up for one another.

At MCF, we are proud to support our members continuing this work every day.

As the Government cuts UK foreign aid by ÂŁ6 billion per year, the impacts on vulnerable populations globally, from Yemen to Afghanistan, will be huge. Rather than stepping back from its international commitments at a time of unprecedented global need, the UK should be stepping up to support those most in need. Otherwise, global inequalities and insecurity will continue to grow.
