Day 1 of the Muslim Charities Forum Senior Leadership Retreat.
 
Yesterday we brought together senior leaders from across the UK’s Muslim charity sector for the first of three days of boardroom-level masterclasses.
 
We opened with a keynote on the state of the charity sector an honest look at the pressures facing organisations right now, and what it will take to meet them.
 
Thank you to our masterclass leaders for their time and expertise, and to everyone in the room for the openness they brought to the conversation.

🎥 At in Liverpool, we sat down with Charlotte Hill OBE, CEO at food redistribution charity Felix.
 
We talked about the drive to triple surplus food redistribution across the UK, tackling food insecurity, and the part Muslim-led charities, mosques and community groups can play in getting good food to the people who need it most.
 
Many charities in our network run food banks, community kitchens and meal programmes, so partnerships like this make a real difference on the ground.
