Who’s up for some Spooktacular October Halloween Magic? Mowgli's Home soft-play area is teaming up with Balham Babes for three fang-tastically magical Halloween activity, craft and play clubs for little monsters this month.

Tuesday 6th - Magic Potion and Bubble Party! Decorate a wizard hat, enjoy some soft-play time and show your best monster moves at the mini wizard disco dance. 3.30-5.30pm

Tuesday 13th - Ghost Hunters Treasure Hunt! Find the hidden ghosts in the spooky treasure hunt, make your own ghost craft and play in the indoor play area.
3.30 - 5.30pm

Tuesday 20th - Pumpkin Party and Craft Day - decorate your own pumpkin, have fun with lots of spooktacular halloween crafts and playtime in the soft play area. 3.30-5.30pm

Friday 30th - It’s the Big Halloween Party! There will be face painting, a costume parade, monster disco, spooky surprise and a trick or treat hunt. 3.30-5.30pm

Booking is essential! Head to Balham Babes to book your session.

And don’t forget there’s a really lovely cafe inside were you can pick up some snacks or stay for dinner from 5.30pm

All sessions are:
Suitable for children aged 2-12 years
£15 per session.
£8 for siblings.
Babies under 2 go free.

The Streatham Festival is back! Streatham’s festival of the arts returns with an exciting programme of events and exhibitions, from 9th - 18th October!

Expect live music, art exhibitions, theatre, family activities, talks, workshops and events hosted by local venues and businesses across the neighbourhood. Not forgetting the Art Trail and the ever popular Streatham Strut which fills high road venues with live music and, often, packed crowds 🎤 (17th October this year!).

Find the full programme on their website and Heart Streatham magazine (copies will be flying through your letterboxes, pick one up in local shops and businesses or read it online via their website).

The Streatham Festival is a fantastic boost to the area as it brings residents and visitors into so many venues, cafés, pubs and community spaces along the High Road and beyond.

Supporting events like this is exactly what the InStreatham Community Fund exists to do.

Streatham Businesses!

Lambeth Council is creating a new local plan and want to hear from you as business owners in the area - what works, what could be improved and what your priorities are for the future alongside their planning team.

The plan will provides a long-term vision for Lambeth’s future. It helps answer important questions about where development should take place, what kinds of places we all want to create, and how growth can benefit local communities.

They recently held an online workshop but invite you to give you feedback on the issues on their live survey until 13th October 2026.
