Last week we hosted Marie Curie UK's "Care for the Future" event in our Herne Hill Room.

Guests experienced presentations about end of life planning and stories of hope and care, ate sweet bites and enjoyed tea and coffee, along with a "behind the seams" experience with dresses and costumes featured on Strictly Dancing.

We love seeing our rooms come to life with amazing and impactful events like this!

We've been busy at work with small projects at the Hub!

Check out our new storage lockers. We are excited to see our partners begin using the new lockers to store their items for their recurring programmes. In this big building you would think storage wouldn't be an issue, but when you run a space that has programming 7 days a week, that comes with a lot of stuff!

Our Trustee, Tom and our Caretaker, Anna stained the doors and they are now ready for use.

From babies to teens, we've got something for your kids at varying stages.

This week we're highlighting two new Starter programmes we are now offering at the Hub.

Monday mornings:

🚼 Baby Massage is hosted by Leila Bakkali in our Camberwell Room. This class is perfect for new babies and their parents or caregivers that encourages gentle relaxation and co-regulation. The benefits of baby massage include improved flexibility and increased oxytocin and communication.

Tuesday evenings:

Our .cafe has new art on view by local artists as a part of a new program "Carnegie Curates" in collaboration with Courtney Kusitor, who had an exhibition in our Herne Hill room in May! The works on view are inspired by the Summer Solstice.

To coincide with the cafe's bi-weekly Pinchos & Plates event on Thursday nights, the cafe will host a celebration for the artists tonight from 18:30 - 20:30. Join us for art, bites and libations.

Next time you're in the cafe, let us know what you think of the new art!
