🌿 Thank you for the lovely invitation to the opening of your new Community Garden and Terrace!

We have loved working alongside the Horniman team over the past year and look forward to continuing our partnership for many years to come.

These beautiful new spaces are a fantastic addition to the local community, creating opportunities for connection, learning, wellbeing, and environmental engagement.

We thoroughly encourage local residents, community groups, schools, and organisations to visit and explore these wonderful new spaces. Whether you're interested in gardening, community events, nature, or simply enjoying a peaceful green space, there is something for everyone.

🌱 Go and check it out, get involved, and see how these spaces are helping to bring our community together!

We are delighted to be one of the top ten organisations to receive the . This grant is run and distributed by Lewisham Local and funded by Lewisham Council , and we are incredibly grateful to both institutions for their support. 💙

Thanks to this funding, we have been able to provide clothes, shoes, white goods, and other essential items for the young people and families we support, things that otherwise may not have been possible.

As the cost of living crisis continues to impact the most vulnerable in our community, grants like these make a real difference. They help ensure that the young people attending Young Lewisham Project experience a safer, more nurturing upbringing and feel supported when they need it most.

Thank you for believing in our work and investing in our community. 🙏

Football games at Young Lewisham Project are always a hit ⚽

There’s something timeless about young people and a football. The joy of sharing a game, building friendships, and creating memories.

Safe to say, footballs are an essential part of life at YLP. In fact… if we haven’t lost at least 100 over the fence into our neighbours’ gardens, have we even really played football? 😂

Our fence may be a little too low, but the energy, laughter, and teamwork these games bring are sky high 🙌
